Augustus Park
Brand Creation

Brand development for Augustus Park – one of Safari Group’s new property developments in Parnell, Auckland. This was a large project that encompassed brand identity, web design and development, logo creation, UX & UI, digital and print marketing campaigns.

Logo Creation

After conceptualising a few different approaches, I filtered it down to two styles. A typographic lockup, or geometric shapes. I finalised the font selection to Trade Gothic and Mr Eaves, giving the leading and kerning room to breathe, with a slightly wider stretch on the letters.

Final Selection

After a few phases and feedback sessions, we finalised on this design. The team loved the combination of the triangle representing a strong foundation, as well as it looking like a directional arrow to represent moving home. It works great for both marketing audiences - home owners and investors.

Photography and Copy

Minimal and short headers with a focus on contrasting colour were applied. The intention here is to create a heading style that didn’t distract from the imagery, but was strong. With buyers predominantly driven by renders and, eventually photography, this should be the main attention, the overlay and geometric shapes allow for a sense of brand ‘togetherness’.

Assets

I was also assigned the task of creating initial assets for the brand, such as websites, brochures, promotional videos, banner ads, eDMs. You can check out the Augustus Park Multisite here which I designed and developed myself.

Flip Book

A small a5 booklet that gave a sneak preview to the development pre-completion. The center triangle was die-cut to reveal inside the booklet.
