The layout for this site was very similar to The Residences Multi-Site . The client wanted to be able to duplicate apartment listings easily, and be able to show them on both the “Living” and “Invest” sites. They wanted customers to visit either the living site (people looking to purchase an apartment to live in) or the invest site (people looking at it as an investment) and display different data for each customer.
Floor Plan Redesign
Apartment floor plan redesign. Colour coded layout to use for both print and digital. The original technical drawings were over-complicated and not intended for customer viewing, so I optimised the imagery, added a 3D element and colour coded the apartments based on apartment type.
Custom Post Type
A custom post type was created for apartments so that the user was able to display some data for the “Invest” site, some for the “Living” site, or both.
This was important as investors needed unique information like return on investment, while people looking for a home to live in wanted specific marketing.
Here you can see the same post, but showing two different sets of information determined by which site you’re on.
